The first Free Priests were ordained at the end of a week long Retreat. Rev Mario, and others participated in lectures, question and answer sessions and intense spiritual activity. The heavens were very close.
One of the questions confronting this new expression of the priesthood was, "How will a priest sustain their priesthood in the absence of a formal organisational structure." Rev Mario addressed this question, but pointed out it would fall to the Free Priests themselves to develop their own concept of a new community.
The Free Priesthood as it has evolved is connected by a gossamer tapestry of fine threads which include:
- The Free Priest Mailing List (FP)
- Retreats - held by different members of the priesthood usually featuring empowerments.
- The New Year Reading
- Zoom meetings
- The spiritual teachings as expressed in the Way of the Wyse Art
